Dominic is a violinist based in Edmonton pursuing a love for performing, writing, and recording music. From his roots in Plamondon to his bachelor's of music from MacEwan University, he's dedicated himself to a variety of genres, including folklore, country, rock, metal, classical, and jazz.

His journey starts with a fiddle passed over 6 generations, playing with other musicians in his family and at local shows in Plamondon in his youth. Dominic's French-Canadian roots led him to participate in various events, such as a battle of the bands called La Chicane, which fueled a love for performance and connecting through music. 

Currently based in Edmonton, Dominic is a violinist and vocalist. He offers musical workshops and performances for schools, festivals, and organizations. He is pursuing a career focused on performance, recording, composition, arranging, film-scoring and songwriting.

Recently, he has released his debut album “Sharing Stars.” A collection of original music and songs belonging to his family’s musical heritage. The album features a traditional fiddle style, as exemplified by songs such as “Le Ruisseau” and “Northern Lights Polka”, as well as modern styles such as country in “Echo (feat. Crystal Plamondon)” or folk rock with “Torchbearer.” The record was recorded and produced with Calvin Vollrath and Jeremy Rusu.

Dominic est un violoniste situé à Edmonton et poursuit sa passion pour la performance, l’écriture et l’enregistrement de musique. De ses racines à Plamondon jusqu’à son baccalauréat en musique de l’Université de MacEwan, il s’est dédié à une variété de genres tels que le folklore, country, rock, metal, classique et jazz.

Son trajet a commencé avec un violon passé entre plus de 6 générations, jouant avec d'autres musiciens de sa famille et aux événements locaux dans sa jeunesse. Grâce à ses origines Franco-Canadiennes, Dominic a eu l'opportunité de participer à des événements tels que La Chicane, allumant une passion pour performer et se connecter avec la musique.

Situé à Edmonton, Dominic est violoniste et vocaliste. Il offre des formations et performances pour les écoles, les festivals, et les organisations. Il poursuit une carrière en performance, enregistrement, composition, arrangement et écriture.

Récemment, il a lancé son premier album sous le titre “Sharing Stars.” Une collection de musique originale et de chanson appartenant à son héritage musical. L’album est caractérisé par un style folklorique traditionnel, tel que mis en lumière par les chansons “Le Ruisseau” et “Northern Lights Polka”, ainsi que par des styles modernes tels que le country avec “Echo (feat. Crystal Plamondon)” ou le rock folklorique avec “Torchbearer.” L’enregistrement a été enregistré et produit avec Calvin Vollrath et Jeremy Rusu.
